Bulcke responded, “Absolutely,” when asked if Nestle would keep Nestle Health Science. The industry, she said, was promising with benefits for society. Following Nestle’s announcement on Thursday that Schneider would step down after almost eight years in the role, Bulcke made his comments.

• After reaching a record high in January 2022, Nestle shares have been declining since May 2023 due to a string of errors, missed results, and downward revisions to its revenue projections.
